This is the christmas gift I painted for my my father in law,
It's the steve mcqueen mustang.
Oil painting, 24 x 30 cm.

this is the second time I have ever painted a car..
I'm not much of a car person and don't find cars the most fun thing to paint.
Tho I'm very happy this one turned out nice, as my father in law really deserved it :)
And he was really very happy to get it.

The first car I painted, I painted for my very nice neighbor this year, for helping us pull our car out of a ditch (the painting was of a volgwagen).
My father in law saw it and said he really wanted a painting of a car for christmas, and I didn't really want to paint more cars, but for him it was okay.



Please do not ask me to paint or draw cars for you,
You would have to pay me a lot before I want to paint any more of these.
I like better to draw dragons and animals =P
but I'm happy I now know I'm able to draw cars as well ;)




This painting was given away as a christmas gift.

Those wheels was totur =P
So I guess it was not giving up on them, wanting them to be perfect :P still not 100% like I wanted them, but I know it was the best I could make them and because of that I'm very happy with them ;)

I bet ! When I draw my cars the worst part is the wheels . I tend to spend hours just trying to get them semi right shaped X) . Honestly this really kicks ass . Kuddos , from one artist to another :)
