Oil Painting, 55cm x 45cm.

The dogs name is Tico.
He belongs to a friend of mine,
She commissioned this painting.
This dog has helped her though some hard times.

I had some inspiration from a dream I had ones, where I saw a black wolf with its tail on fire, running over a field, it was showing me the way to a new beginning.
Fire burns away what ones was and leaves the land barren for new things to grow and thrive.

I havent heard of Cujo and googled it.. "Cujo (1981) is a psychological horror novel by Stephen King.." XD oh my...
This dog is the nicest dog you will ever find and he don't have rabies

but I can see why you might think of Cujo.

It's a very great painting ^^ I love to get inspired by dreams. They always give the most wonderful ideas that you could never think of if you were awake.
The painting gives me the though of a brave, strong and loyal dog who'll do everything for it's owner. I'm really imressed of the way you've made the fire. I feel like i can hear it roar. Very, very awesome work.
